About Humanity's Team

Humanity’s Team is a spiritual movement whose purpose is to communicate and implement the belief that we are all one, one with God and one with life, in a shared global state of being, so that the behavior of humanity may shift to reflect this understanding

 

Dubbed “a civil rights movement for the soul,” the movement has over 35,000 adherents from more than 90 countries on six continents.

 

Humanity’s Team was created by the spiritual author Neale Donald Walsch in 2003 in response to the crisis that he saw the human race facing following the events of September 11th, 2001.

 

In early 2004, Steve Farrell, the Worldwide Coordinating Director, formed a Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and governance structure with a small leadership team of people from around the world.

 

At the same time, Country Coordinators around the world created local structures and programs focusing mainly on spiritual education and “inner work” and joined with a leadership team in collaborating on and approving the governance structure guiding Humanity's Team today. 

 

Humanity’s Team, based in Boulder, Colorado, proposes a New Spirituality that enlarges and enhances humanity’s current beliefs about God and about life in ways that could change how we live with each other, bringing peace and harmony to our planet at last.

 

The New Spirituality is not a new religion. Rather, it is an expansion of all our present theologies; an updating of them; a refreshing of them, rendering all of our current sacred teachings even more relevant to our present day and time.

 

Key to the New Spirituality is a belief that God is not separate from anyone or anything — and neither are we.

Spirituality in  Action is   committed to  offering uplifting and inspirational  interviews and exercises for taking care of our inner selves.  Most of us are looking at ways to better ourselves so that we can be great examples in our daily lives in Awakening the World to Oneness, in Being the Change.

Not only does your recurring donation of $10.00 a month help each of us to stay on our paths and offer a monthly phone call with our founder, Neale Donald Walsch, the funds we raise through this program help Humanity’s Team  pay for some of  our  most important projects.

 

Global Oneness Day This past October 24, our first Global Oneness Day ever, people and organizations in over 50 countries celebrated our Oneness, our connectivity to one another and all life on the planet.  Many people have already written to us requesting information for Global Oneness Day 2011.

Through Global Oneness Day, we have been able to make a positive impact on the lives of thousands of people around the world.  Next year we plan to involve hundreds of thousands of people around the world.

 

Websites, Social Networking and Communications Humanity’s Team has two beautiful and effective websites.   One is the worldwide Humanity’s Team site (www.humanitysteam.org) and the other is our Global Oneness Day website (http://www.global-oneness-day.org/) .  Besides these forms of communication we also have several Facebook pages around the world, Twitter accounts, Connections Radio (http://www.spiritmedianetwork.com/crs.htm ) and an audio visual team who creates and edits our videos/radio show which promote our different activities.

 

Community Outreach Humanity’s Team is involved with Community Outreach All over the world! We are working in our communities in the name of Humanity’s Team.  We collect and donate clothing, food, diapers, furniture, small appliances and assist terminally ill children as just a few examples of our outreach.  We are also focusing on programs for our youth, so that they grow up KNOWING that we are all One and are therefore being raised to be compassionate young adults.

 

Scholarship Funding Humanity’s Team’s Global Council (country coordinators from around the world and other key leadership positions who help keep Humanity’s Team running year round) meets once a year to plan for the upcoming years activities.  Since we are a volunteer organization, we seek funding to get some members of our Global Council to these meetings  (people who otherwise would not be able to attend).

 

Our work is only possible with the assistance of generous donations from people like you. Without donations from supporters such as you, we wouldn’t be able to continue to Awakening the World to Oneness in the ways we are now.   We are committed to awakening the world to Oneness but we require the support of our teammates around the world. We are seeking 2,000 families who will support us.
